Interim Compliance Officer
Virgilio Florentino began his career in managed care with FHP, Inc. in 1992. At that time, Virgilio decided to bring his skills in training and management development to the health care industry to create training programs, interpret federal and state regulations, and develop policies and procedures for various departments within the California division. His experience continued with FHP’s acquisition of TakeCare Health Plan where he worked to successfully integrate the operations divisions of both organizations.
In New York, Virgilio continued his managed care experience by joining Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield as Director of Compliance. In this capacity, he successfully coordinated Empire’s Medicare Risk filing. Upon CMS’ approval of Empire’s Medicare Risk product, Virgilio’s responsibilities were expanded to manage Medicare Risk Compliance, Training, Enrollment, Verification, and Member Relations Departments.

Francisco Perdomo attended Jamaica High School’s Exclusive Academy of Finance Program where he was a Scholarship recipient and later attended SUNY Binghamton where his study of focus was Finance and Spanish. Prior to graduation, Francisco was extended his first job offer at Oxford Health Plans, where his true entrepreneurship qualities began to immerse. Francisco developed a proposal and was granted the sole opportunity to develop the Hispanic Initiative at Oxford Health Plans for Hispanic-Owned Companies in the Tri-State area.
Francisco took a recess from the insurance industry and experimented with other successful business ventures in New York and Florida. His long overdue return to his roots in New York after 11 years in Florida, brought him back into the insurance industry in New York. Francisco quickly learned the Government segment of the insurance space and also learn quickly to identify the gaps and disconnects of the industry. With a best-in-class training from organizations like Access Medicare and Wellcare Health Plans, Francisco’s entrepreneurship qualities resurfaced again, only this time with more experience, focus and maturity in place to understand that he could make a tremendous and positive impact in effecting change in such a big industry.
Francisco launched a new business venture and brought birth in 2016 to what today is Benefits Concierge Group, with the main goal to cater and help the vulnerable Senior market and provide them with the most genuine VIP experience unheard of in the industry. Francisco’s aspirations weren’t his legacy or the amount of money that could be made, but a more shifted approach to being HUMANITARIAN and RESPECTFUL to the Senior population as we see them age-in in huge numbers and needing our true guidance. His concept has now evolved into a new elaborate entity with the same core values called Benefits Concierge Consulting Group under added leadership and experience. The rest is history in the making with the Right People, Products and Process.
